Day 1 and Day 2:

Day 1
A recent picture of me:
Halloweenish... this is the most recent picture of me. Sadly I looked really cute later that night in my Halloween costume and didn't get a single picture of me in it... lame.

Day 2
My Favorite Song:
SO hard to choose just one. I will name 2 that are equally my favs
Drive by Incubus
All You Need Is Love by The Beatles
Both of those songs can brighten my mood any time I hear them no matter what.

Borrowed the 30 day blog idea from my Sister in Law Stacey Maybe this will get me in the habit of regular blogging!

Such a BIG boy!

Max had his 4 month check up a few weeks ago.
He is 16 lbs and growing! That puts him in the 75th percentile for his weight. He also has a giant head, he's in the 90th percentile for head circumference. He's in great health and was a trooper when he got his shots, only crying for a minute.
He had a rough week following that though. It was a rough week for all of us, Mike and I felt so helpless to help him feel better. I think it was a combo of a lot of different factors, daylight savings, shots and new formula. But he soon went back to his smiley self!
He is now eating rice cereal! Can't believe he's already eating solids, well mush... He's a great eater and seems to like it.
I took some pictures with Mike's iPhone of his first time eating cereal. It has the BRIGHTEST flash and Max made the funniest faces when it went off. He had me crackin up.

We took him to the final Real Salt Lake game and he seemed to really enjoy the people watching. He's such a good baby to take places. We're really lucky!

Among his other tricks of sitting up with little help, screaming in delight (and anger), laughing hysterically when he's tickled, dancing with mom, sticking out and playing with his tongue, he has started copying silly noises. Mike made a kind of growling noise at him the other night when we were visiting John, Stevie and Lily and he made it back. It's funny cause he tries to growl from the back of his throat and you can barely hear it. I'll try to catch it on video and post it! It's ADORABLE!

All I want for Christmas is a digital camera

As promised here is a picture of Max in his cute lil Halloween costume. He spent 3 days in the thing practically. Friday we had a fun time at dinner, costume photo shoot and cupcake decorating at Anne and Graham's house. And Anne as usual got some great shots of the festivities but I didn't...

I am starting to realize that all the pictures I have of Max are getting blurrier and blurrier...
I suppose its because they are taken with my slow (no flash) camera phone and now that hes not a newborn and sleeping all the time but an active wiggly, smiley, gabby baby, my phone just can't keep up. I don't want to miss out on all the great Kodak moments this kid seems to provide!
So I decided I'm going to buy us a new camera this month!

I digress, Max's first sleep over with G-ma went well. He kept my mom up a bit more than I and I'm sure more than she would have liked. But none the less she seemed to really enjoy the time with him and visa versa. Saturday night Mike went out with some friends and Max and I stayed at my mom's and watched movies and hung out.
Sunday our friend Brandy made us a super yummy dinner and we hung out with friends and relaxed.

(Here are some pics I stole from Anne's blog, totally lame I know! I PROMISE to post my own when I get a new camera)
